About me:
Hi I’m Natasha, I’m a graphic illustrator/designer and maker
based in the Northwest, UK. I recently graduated with a Master’s degree in
Animation at The University of Salford. I spent this past year expanding my
knowledge in Animation, particularly on puppet making for stop motion
animation. Over the course of the year, I worked towards making a short stop
motion film titled, ‘Bunny Soft Toilet Paper AD’ which is essentially a spoof
advert featuring my very own loveable, flatulent wizard puppet.
Puppet, prop and
set making for film and television is what I am most passionate about and I’m
continuing to develop my skills in this area with a new personal project coming
very soon...
At the same time as studying, I have been working on improving my skills
by doing portrait commissions, as well as recently producing a self-made comic
book ‘Jemima & The Jellymen’ which I have been selling on my Etsy store.
I
work with a wide range of materials and platforms, and over the past few years
I have particularly strengthened my ability in digital art, and I am now
accustomed to a variety of software’s, including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe
Illustrator, InDesign, Procreate etc.
One of my pieces was chosen as one of the
posters to be featured at the 2021 Sound City music event in Liverpool which
was presented at size A0 at St Lukes’s church ruins, affectionately known by
locals as The Bombed-Out Church.
